The half of the boat you never see
Everything that decides whether a hull is sound sits below the waterline — laminate condition, blistering, keel and rudder attachment, skin fittings and seacocks, shafts, bearings, propellers and anodes. None of it can be properly assessed afloat.
We arrange the lift, attend it, and carry out or supervise the work while she is up — then see her safely back in. One point of contact for the yard, the survey and the works.

Planning around hurricane season
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from 1 June to 30 November. Barbados has historically been missed more often than most of the island chain, but it sits inside the hurricane belt — Elsa in 2021 is the recent reminder. If you are deciding what to do with the vessel over the season, talk to us early: a documented plan, a sound hull and correctly worded cover are worth more than any single decision about where she sits.

What size vessel can be hauled in Barbados?
We handle vessels up to 50 feet. Beam, draught and displacement matter as well as length, so send us the dimensions and we will confirm what is achievable and what it involves.
How long will she be out?
Long enough to do the work properly and no longer. We agree the scope and the programme before the lift so the yard time is planned rather than open-ended.
Can you survey her while she is out?
That is the ideal arrangement. Combining the survey with the haul-out means one lift instead of two, and the underwater areas can be properly assessed.
